Organics and the EU Exit transition period

As part of the on-going dialogue government departments have with stakeholders during the EU Exit process the Defra Organics team have issued new guidance.

The UK left the EU under the Withdrawal Agreement 31 January 2020, and will enter into a transition period until the end of 2020.

During this time, businesses will be able to trade with the EU on the same terms as they do now.

The Defra Organics team have compiled a FAQ sheet. The FAQs contain information on labelling, importing and exporting during the transition period.

The FAQ sheet is available to download here.
