Direct marking on pots and trays

Koenig und Bauer is presenting the alphaJET continuous inkjet systems at the IPM Essen 2020. The alphaJET continuous inkjet systems are ideal for the direct printing of pots, trays and much more. A plant passport can be printed directly on the merchandise. The shape and size of the plant pots may differ. With the alphaJET, the font and size can be freely selected.

Direct marking offers the user several advantages: 
- low running costs
- flexible in the design of the print image
- easy to integrate into existing processes
- no warehousing costs

For the plant passport on the commercial product, the areas marked with the letters A, B, C and D must be clearly identifiable. The size of the plant passport, the font and the font size can be freely chosen. It must be legible to the naked eye. In addition, the plant passport must be visible at a glance.
