Software tool promotes efficiency and collaboration for growers

Calculate the value of your own products and make decisions about future production based on your own data. GreenPlan is a tool in production planning and the production budget and can be used to provide an overview of production, costs and earnings.

GreenPlan is a multi-user program that reduces personal dependency and serves as effective communication between production managers.

The program has been developed over several years using knowledge and experience from pot plant growers. Outdoor production can also be planned, showing results for, for example, machine occupancy and piece-work.

GreenPlan is being developed in collaboration between two Danish companies, HortiAdvice and NB-Data. NB-Data is responsible for the coding, while sales and user support are performed by HortiAdvice. The ongoing program development takes place in a short chain between users - HortiAdvice and NB-Data.

The latest program development has specifically focused on ease of use and better overview, and during the year several features have been added. E.g. user and access control, window with phase costs and printout of production status.

For future users, a USB key is available with the latest software version at IPM Essen, so planning and finance executives can go home and try the program. NB-Data and HortiAdvice participate with their own stand, 6J31, in hall 6 at IPM Essen, Germany.

To arrange a meeting in advance, contact Charlotte Holde, chol@hortiadvice.dk, or Jens Jørgensen, jjo@hortiadvice.dk. See more about GreenPlan at www.hortiadvice.dk/greenplan
