Last year over 80,000 visitors passed the entrance of Turkish horticultural fair GrowTech Eurasia, and this year the number of visitors is not expected to be smaller. The horticultural show in Antalya kicked off this morning, and up until Saturday it will be all about growing there.

With over 800 exhibitors from 30 countries, the GrowTech is an international gateway for the surrounding countries, being the main reason why many international suppliers participate in the show: they see opportunities in Central Asia and want to meet up with growers from Uzbekistan, Kazachstan and other former Soviet countries.

Exporting Turkish greenhouses
The Turkish suppliers participate in the show for local growers and to export to surrounding countries. Egypt is a growing market where more and more is exported to. Also international suppliers are present. The Israelis for example, showcasing technology and innovations.
