Meet Singapore's Veggie Farming Family

Fireflies Health Farm is a family business pur sang. “My dad grows the vegetables, my mum cooks the vegetables, my brothers sell the vegetables, and I just eat the vegetables” according to daughter Xiao Xi.

Dad Chai started the Singaporean farm in 1985 and – being averse to pesticides – decided to convert it into an organic farm in 1985. The family brings the produce from farm to table, by using it to make traditional dishes and sell them in their stall.

In this video, the Chai family explain their motivation.
