1,634 solar panels for even greener washing

Unifortes lowers its carbon footprint through the installation of solar panels. In recent weeks, the workers from Aannemer de Heer have been working hard at a green future for Unifortes. No less than 1634 solar panels have recently been installed on the roof of the business premises that will contribute to the sustainable ambitions of Unifortes.

The roof covering was renewed prior to the installation of the solar panels. "A new white bituminous roof covering will ensure the best possible yield from the solar panels and ensure that the panels can remain in place for at least 25 years," according to co-owner R. Kranendonk of Unifortes.

This increased sustainability fits in perfectly with Unifortes' ambition to produce more and more sustainably and to develop installations that fit this ambition. “With the installation of the solar panels, we provide our entire business area with green energy. Part of the green energy is even supplied back to the grid."
