US: Bushel Boys eyes Iowa expansion

Tomato growing company Bushel Boys eyes an expansion to Iowa. This week the mayor of Mason City, Iowa, announced on Facebook in his "Monday Minute," that Bushel Boy, based out of Owatonna, Minnesota, is proposing to build a $35 million facility in the city's industrial park south of 43rd Street Southwest and east of Pierce Avenue.

"The next addition to our industry in Mason City may be a major producer of hydroponic tomatoes", mayor Bill Schickel announced in his Monday Facebook Minute, a weekly update with daily news. 

Schickel announced Bushel Boy Farms, currently growing in Owatonna Minnesota, has proposed a facility in the industrial park in Southern Mason City. The 80 acre faciliy, a $35 million dollar project, would generate 50 jobs. The goal is to be operational by this time next year.
