BelOrta recently sold the first organic mini plum tomato of the new season. From now until the end of November, these tomatoes will be available at BelOrta's organic department. They were provided by Vitaetom and bought by Biofresh.

Popularity is on the rise - a general increase in acreage 2019
BelOrta sold 93,000 kilos of organic mini plum tomatoes in 2018. The greenhouse acreage used for organic vegetables within BelOrta increased in 2019, which meant an increase in cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and sweet peppers. The acreage used for mini plum tomatoes remains the same as it was in 2018. BelOrta's organic department offers a range of possibilities considering the trade of the organic mini plum tomatoes, among which is the idea for smaller packaging.
BelOrta organic producers show assortment with brand new consumer contest
This year the organic producers put the entire organic assortment on display with their brand new consumer contest, in which shoppers get the chance to win one of the 5 ultra-modern e-bikes that are being given away at the end of the season.
