With the appointment of two important figures, Oro Agri aims at consolidating its role in Benelux and to improve its operations in Turkey.
The company has appointed Martien Melissant as its Business Development Manager and Technical Support for Benelux, and Orcun Urun as its new Country Manager in Turkey. The former will focus the company’s efforts in supporting the Company’s existing products in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs in the region and in developing future new products; the latter will focus on building a team and developing the business with the aim of establishing Oro Agri Turkey.

“Martien has over 30 years’ experience in agriculture and horticulture and especially in fertilisers, biopesticides, biostimulants and biocides,” explains Ms. Carol Pullen, General Manager Europe. “He will provide the necessary support to develop Oro Agri products in the region, especially on new emerging pests and diseases that are affecting Europe.”
“Orcun has over 20 years’ experience with pesticide and fertilizer products working for multi-national crop protection companies in Turkey,” says Ms. Carol Pullen. “He is therefore ideally placed to help Oro Agri establish a business in the country.”
