Since the 1st of January 2019, Dick van Oorschot has been appointed as technical advisor at Oreon. Dick has many years of experience in greenhouse horticulture and is familiar with the installation of the Oreon Grow Lights and water-cooling technology.
"More and more companies are installing our LED lighting. With the knowledge and expertise of Dick, we can even better advise and serve our customers in a shorter period of time," says Jan Mol, Director of Oreon.
"After 27 years of experience in horticultural automation, water and electricity installations, the time was right for a next step. LED lighting is the future and Oreon is at the forefront of this. The choice was quite easy. I know the company, the people and the projects they work for.
Before I left Elektravon Haket, two enthusiastic, new colleagues joined the team. The current projects are in good hands and I am therefore confident about a silent transition.
The first weeks at Oreon I intensively studied the world of LED grow lights and the technology in which Oreon distinguishes itself in the market. The combination of LED and water-cooling is very interesting and can offer a solution for current issues concerning energy and sustainability in the business case of a grower.
As technical advisor, I will do my best to help and advise everyone as best as I can, whether it concerns current / new dealers, end users or local installers.
