New 2 ha greenhouse complex launched in Turkmenistan

A new greenhouse complex, with an acreage of 2 ha, has been launched in Turkmenistan. The complex has all the contemporary equipment and boasts innovative technologies. At the moment, they have started producing cucumbers and tomatoes.

Currently there are 10 major contemporary greenhouses in the Lebapsky valayat area, growing a vast variety of fruit and vegetables, as well as flowers. The complexes play a key role in supplying the local market with high quality vegetables and in delivering produce to other regions.

The regional producers have started promoting their produce in foreign markets too. Thus, a special complex headed by Mr. R. Abdulaev has delivered the first batches of vegetables and strawberries to Russia and Kazakhstan.

Construction of contemporary greenhouses with innovative technologies is escalating all over the country thanks to extensive state support. Currently 19 similar complexes are being constructed in the Lebapsky valayat. The launch of the complexes is planned for the next year.
