Spain: Police pull over car full of stolen peppers

Police in Spain have detained two women after finding a car loaded with more than 400 kilos of stolen red peppers.

The cops were hot on the heels of the thieves and caught them red-handed after a landowner alerted them in Viana in the Navarra region of Spain.

Regional police, the PolicĂ­a Foral, said the two 33-year-olds allegedly stole peppers with a plan to sell them on the street.
