The organisers of HortEx Vietnam, the second International Exhibition and Conference for Horticultural and Floricultural Production and Processing Technology in Vietnam, are preparing for three kick-off meetings to be held in October in Vietnam.
The kick-off meetings will be held as follows:
- Hanoi, 16 October 2018
- Dalat, 17 October 2018
- Ho Chi Minh City, 18 October 2018
The kick-off meetings are an opportunity for interested companies to learn more about the market situation in Vietnam and of course about the exhibition, HortEx Vietnam.
Speakers at the kick-off meetings include representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam, The Lam Dong Crop Production and Plant Protection Department, the Dalat Flower Association and the organisers of the exhibition.
HortEx Vietnam is being supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam, Lam Dong Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Center (TIPC), Vietnam Fruit & Vegetable Association (VinaFruit) and the Dalat Flower Association.
Vietnam is the fastest growing economy of the Southeast Asian countries and horticulture and floriculture are one of the most promising sectors of this economy. HortEx Vietnam aims to serve all segments of the Vietnamese horticulture and floriculture sector.
The extensive support from governmental and industry bodies underlines the necessity of such dedicated event in Vietnam.
HortEx Vietnam 2018, was launched from 13-15 March 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City.
In total more than 110 companies from 20 countries worldwide participated and 4,530 visitors visited the event. Apart from the Vietnamese visitors the exhibition also welcomed quite a number of visitors from other Southeast Asian countries such as Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, but also up to Korea, Australia, China, USA and India.
HortEx Vietnam contributes to the development of the industry in Vietnam and creates a bridge between International and local suppliers of horticultural and floricultural products on one side and the Vietnamese growers and other industry professionals on the other side.
