Australia: Masterclass in protected cropping

The Virginia Hort Centre in South Australia will host a technical training course in greenhouse and hydroponic production that is specifically designed to develop high level technical and management skills of:
  • Growers in protected cropping systems (inc. greenhouse, vertical farm, hydroponic or aquaponic, etc)
  • Suppliers of hydroponic equipment or greenhouse technology
  • Agronomists, consultants and advisors
  • Horticultural researchers and educators & new industry entrants 
Topics include growing media, plant physiology, nutrient management, water quality, irrigation, EC & pH, environmental management, production systems, crop protection, CO2, crop registration, system maintenance and plant health.

The costs of the course are AU$2,250 (including morning and afternoon teas, lunch and workbook).
