October 3-5, Almeria
Sharing fertigation best practices across Europe
The Final Conference of the European Thematic Network FERTINNOWA will be held in Almeria at the Aguadulce Congress Hall on 3-5 October 2018. Funded by the H2020 EU Programme, this network aims to create a collection of available knowledge on innovative technologies and practices in crop fertigation and to assess and share those that with the strongest innovative potential may contribute to improving the sustainability of fertigation practices.

Almeria in Spain will host the final meeting of the FERTINNOWA consortium. Growers, advisors, companies developing and innovating, interested people in general, give shape to those who we consider being the genuine project recipients. This is the kind of public the organization wants to fill the conference hall with.
The working sessions offer the opportunity to the stakeholder to present their best practices, technologies and experiences in the fertigated horticulture with a focus on the topics:
Water source and availability
Improve water quality
Irrigation/fertigation equipment
Irrigation/fertigation management
Limiting environmental emissions
Policy and legislation
The Technology Market will take place during the 2 days, a modest Exhibition Fair where FERTINNOWA partners and interested companies and organisations could share and explain relevant technologies in fertigation. Mostly those that being selected for their relevance, have been assessed and showcased during the FERTINNOWA project. On the final day, participants will have the opportunity to participate in one of the guided field tours at greenhouse and outdoor crops and local desalinisation plants.
