NL: New Taks Handling Systems building officially opened

Last month the official opening of the new Taks Handling Systems building took place. At the Munnikenheiweg in Etten-Leur everything was immaculate. The hall was decorated in style with attention for decorum. Flower arrangements, catering service and speakers; everything was thought of. On stage the first and the most recent technical invention of Taks Handling Systems was displayed. The first box loader, with Cor Taks in charge, stands 30 years later in sharp contrast with the modern robot. The technical developments are continuing rapidly.

Arie Meeuwisse took over the management from Cor a number of years ago. In that period the company has seen many developments. The solutions for the Taks packaging halls go all over the world, thanks to the entire workforce. According to Arie he just provided the guidance. He thanked the staff for their dedication and motivation.

Change
Richard van Hooydonk spoke as a trend watcher and futurist about the technology of the future. "Change is the only constant factor" is the summary of his story. And that applies to all sectors: from cars to greenhouse horticulture and from households to implanted chips in the body.

During the event, checks were presented to two charities. Both KiKa and Tools to Work received an amount of 3,000 euro each. This amount was donated by the guests and Taks Handling Systems.
