Friday April 20 adelegation from the North Dakota Farmers Union (United States) visitedNorth-Holland. Development company Noord-Holland Noord (NHN) organized a presentation and tour at Hazera, one of the Seed Valley companiesin the region.
The visit toNorth-Holland was part of a two-day visit to the Netherlands. The unionwas mostly interested in the Netherlands because the Netherlands are the secondlargest world wide exporter of vegetables and seeds. North-Holland is thebirth place of Seed valley, which makes it strong in seed breeding.
Development company NHN regularly accompanies companies and delegations when visiting the region. The visits are aimed at entrepreneurs and investment possibilities in the region. The goal is, together with the companies, to demonstrate the attractiveness of the region
