US: Bee Vectoring closes private placement

Bee Vectoring Technologies International Inc. announces the closing of its non-brokered private placement of 500,000 units of the Company at a price of $0.25 per unit for gross proceeds of C$125,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of C$0.35 per common share until May 2, 2020.

“This private placement provided our new director, Brandon Boddy, the opportunity to invest personally in the company,” said Ashish Malik, CEO. “We are very pleased with his show of confidence, and I, along with the rest of the BVT team and its directors look forward to working with Brandon to build a great company.”

BVT will apply the net proceeds of the Offering to support its commercialization plans for the US, continue projects that selectively expand its addressable market opportunity including developing additional crops and advancing registration activities in new countries, and for general working capital purposes.

There were no finders fees paid pursuant to the Offering.

All securities issued or issuable under the Offering are subject to a four-month hold period expiring on September 3, 2018 in addition to such other restrictions as may apply under applicable securities laws in jurisdictions outside of Canada.

Final closing of this Offering is subject to final acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
