Diaz-Saavedra directly reports to Scott Peterson, Eastern Regional Sales Manager. Peterson said, “Gabe has 34 years of experience building and managing profitable sales territories and stewarding sustainable products. His experience is welcome and necessary as our sales force is pushed to meet the increasing demand for biopesticides in conventionally grown agriculture, as well as in organically produced crops.”
Diaz-Saavedra previously served as sales manager/agronomist for Perdue AgriBusiness and regional sales manager for Koppert Biological Systems. Diaz-Saavedra has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida-Gainesville and a B.S. degree in Agriculture from Cornell University. He is a member of the Florida and Georgia blueberry grower associations, Tennessee Organic Growers Association, the Organic Association of Kentucky, the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and the not-for-profit organization Georgia Organics. Diaz-Saavedra is a Certified Crop Advisor. He will work from his office in Bradenton, Florida.
