Indoor sunlight now available for medical cannabis growers

Azentive is a company providing energy efficiency and wellness consulting services as well as emerging technology solutions. They have just launched a new plasma lighting solution for the medical cannabis industry.

European medical cannabis growers using the new plasma lighting technology report crops with higher cannabidiol, cannabinol, and other medical compound levels, as well as significantly higher dry weight flower yields. Growers of medical cannabis crops have reported yield increases of 25% to 90%, even in landrace strains.

"The increase in yield was 60% approximately per plant in total dried weight,” said one Master Grower. “The largest weight increase was in an Indica/Afghanica dominant hybrid, which is notoriously difficult to grow.”

This success is attributed to the spectrum and light density optimization of the plasma light by German inventor Boris Lutterbach. Sun On-Demand lighting solutions accurately replicate the sun’s spectrum and power, effectively bringing sunshine indoors. These solutions also offer higher density, uniform lighting, and larger coverage area than current competitors and its plasma predecessors.

This is the first time Sun On-Demand lighting systems are commercially available to North American medical cannabis growers. More information can be found on Azentive’s website www.azentive.com/forgrowers.
