India: Hi-tech mushroom centre to be functional by May

An integrated mushroom development and training centre will be functional at Lalmandi Srinagar next month.

Director Agriculture Kashmir, Showkat Ahmad Beigh who visited the facility on Saturday said that the centre will provide training and demonstration to the unemployed youth and other agriculture related people on a large scale.

This centre will also provide pasteurized compost to mushroom growers valley-wide that will boost the production.
