Bret Shaw joins AgDNA management team

The rapid adoption of digital farm management services has resulted in the expansion of AgDNA’s sales team into the mid-west where the company’s sales growth is accelerating. Bret Shaw has been appointed as the National Sales Manager based in Des Moines, Iowa. In the newly created role Bret will use his wealth of industry experience managing precision ag digital solutions to expand the company’s product sales and distribution channel.

Commenting on role, Bret believes that AgDNA represents tremendous opportunity to bring new innovation to agriculture. “I’m very excited to be joining the team”, Shaw says, “when you’re up close to the AgDNA platform and see what it can do, you realize the importance of automated data management”.

“Using precision farming data to drive decisions creates genuine financial value for growers. I’m really impressed at how AgDNA simplifies the entire process by automatically analyzing the information coming from equipment and sensors in the field”, he continued. “It’s awesome to be joining a team that is literally shaping the future of farming ”.

Responsible for managing the sales growth via the company’s national dealer network, the new AgDNA National Sales Manager will be on the front lines alongside growers, equipment dealers and agribusinesses as they kick-off the 2017 season.

Following recent successes with new product launches, dealer partnerships and the Tulane Challenge, AgDNA CEO Paul Turner believes that Bret’s appointment is also a sign that growers are embracing new precision ag technologies.

“AgDNA had strong growth in all our key markets during 2016”, says Turner, “That was largely due to growers swapping out of older technology data solutions into AgDNA based on superior product performance and the local expertise of our dealer network”.

“With Bret on board to help steer the ship, he will work closely with our Key Account Managers around the country to ensure our dealer channel has the support it needs to delight their growers. Our business is built on customer satisfaction and it’s critical to our success. This is particularly important with new users signing up as the 2017 growing season gets underway”, continued Turner.
