The inspiration for this came when she went to the De Kabel nursery, where she was shown around by Richard Hartensveld. "I live near the largest greenhouse area of the Netherlands and I've never really been in a tomato greenhouse," she confesses on her blog. And now there will be a Valentine’s cake with tomatoes. "Those tomatoes are made with so much love and attention, this will make everything alright. Quite apart from the fact that tomatoes fall of course under the aphrodisiac ingredients, they are not called ‘pommes d'amour' without reason!"
