US (NY): Intergrow might look at other location to develop new farm

New York state greenhouse grower Intergrow Greenhouses is looking at other locations to develop their new greenhouse complex. The grower initially planned to build a 25 acre greenhouse at a 114 acre parcel at the town of Webster, but local residents who are worried over the project have slowed down their plans at this site.

According to an article on the Democrat & Chronicle, Intergrow is now looking at different options, such as a property in the town of Ontario, Wayne Country (New York State). Yet, Intergrow's Dirk Biemans said that the company has not disregarded the Webster property as a possible development site. "Because the Webster parcel offered the right combination of flat space and utilities, such as gas hookups, needed for the greenhouse development, it’ll be tough to find another property like it", he said in the article.
