Russia: Nizhny Novgorod to get 4-hectare veg greenhouse

Construction of new greenhouses with an area of 4 hectares was launched in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod. The facility will produce vegetables using photoculture technology.

As Construction.RU was told by the press-service of the Nizhny Novgorod regional government, the agricultural complex is implementing an investment project on technical re-equipment of the existing boiler house and reconstruction of 4 hectares of greenhouses.

Also, the construction of vegetable production facility on photoculture technology with the use of interplanting is underway in the area of 4 hectares.

This will increase the area of the greenhouse complex up to 19 hectares. The volume of vegetable production will grow from 5600 tons to 7300 tons per year.
