Greenhouse construction machines travel the globe

At the beginning of this year, KUBO bought a considerable number of new construction machines. These machines were purchased to facilitate faster, easier, better and safer building and glazing of project structures. Just like KUBO greenhouses, these machines are made and designed in Holland in accordance with high Dutch standards. These machines aren’t available for hire anywhere on the planet, and that is the reason why KUBO developed them. Used for building and glazing, the machines will take a trip to all four corners of the world, which is why they’ve been named after world cities.

The machines can be driven into the container using a remote control. Pictured here is a construction machine on its way to Montreal, Canada.

One of the machines was bought together with KUBO’s permanent agent, DutchTec. KUBO has been operating in Scandinavia together with DutchTec for many years. This machine, appropriately named ‘Copenhagen’, left for Denmark at the beginning of the summer, and will be travelling around the north of Europe full time from project to project.

Apart from the KUBO construction machines, there are even more on order for Glasspoint. The first machine has already been delivered and is being used on the Miraah project. This project, in which KUBO is a partner, is being built on the edge of an oilfield in Amal, Oman, and is destined to be the largest solar energy project in the world.
