BASF, Metro en Syngenta looking for start-ups

F&A Next, a Dutch platform for start-ups in food and agriculture, will host the 'largest group of investors focused on food and agriculture ever in the Netherlands'. During the F&A Next event on 25 and 26 May 2016, investors, start-ups and corporations in the industry will meet with the collective goal to stimulate innovation in food and agriculture. During the event, start-ups will present themselves to investors during pitching sessions. Among them are start-ups like Proti-Farm (insects), Mosa Meat (lab-grown meat) and Mazza Innovations (nutrient extraction).
 


Largest group of F&A investors ever in the Netherlands
Along with Anterra Capital – globally the largest VC fund in agtech, and partner of F&A Next –representatives from more than 25 international venture capital and corporate venture funds focused on investing in innovative food and agriculture companies will attend F&A Next. Additionally, dedicated angel investors and representatives from large European companies in food and agriculture will be looking out for the next big innovation in food and agtech.

The Netherlands is the second largest exporter of agricultural produce in the world and the country is leading in terms of production efficiency, from seed breeding to livestock.
