Stuppy has designed the Aqueduct aquaponics growing system as a reply to the increasing demand for local and safe food production. The greenhouse manufacturer was approached by customers who had problems with their aquaponic set ups. According to Matt Stuppy it was time to bring something to the market that actually works.

Stuppy's system is all ready to go. "There are lot of different systems out there, but only a few are professional, and even fewer are complete," explains Matt Stuppy. "We have made a system that is complete and professional.''
The Aqueduct growing system is based on the typical aquaponics eco-system; you recirculate water from a fish tank through grow beds, the fish poo is transformed into fertilizers by bacteria and the fertilizer feeds the plants. A large number of crops can be grown in the aquaponic system, as well as several fresh water fish varieties.
The Aqueduct system from Stuppy was developed by engineers. Still, it's easy enough for two sixteen years old to assemble. The system comes with a curriculum, so schools and universities can implement it in their classes for educational purposes. As well as this, Stuppy makes the system available to commercial growers, start-ups and home growers.
In this presentation, Stuppy Greenhouse Manufacturing president, Matt Stuppy, talks about Stuppy's new product, the Aqueduct aquaponics growing system. He begins by going over the company and history and then dives into what is aquaponics and how it works, the benefits of aquaponics, how the Aqueduct works (ebb and flow and float tanks), how the Aqueduct is unique to the market, the company sales process and the Aqueduct's future within the company.
