Illumitex is pleased to announce the addition of a new member of the NeoSol LED grow light family. NeoSol DS—Non-Dimming offers an option to customers who want the power of NeoSol but don’t need the dimming capability offered by our flagship fixture.
As with the dimming version of NeoSol DS grow light, the new fixture is suitable for a wide range of horticulture lighting applications, including propagation of vegetative or flowering plants in grow tents, compact growing areas or large-scale commercial grow operations. The NeoSol DS is currently growing plants including leafy greens and cannabis in operations all over the world.
“There are so many different applications for NeoSol, and some customers were looking for a slightly lower price point for this popular fixture, so we designed a non-dimming version to meet those needs,” says Paul Gray, Illumitex VP Horticulture Lighting Solutions and Senior Horticulture Scientist.
NeoSol DS may be used in vertically stacked orientation of two or more layers of grow trays and fixtures. NeoSol DS outperforms 1000W HID fixtures in 4×4 and 5×5 plant grow beds, giving growers more than 50% energy savings.
The fixture contains Illumitex Surexi F3 Spectrum LEDs and the fixture design maximizes volumetric area for plant growth and minimizes fixture weight and energy consumption. Illumitex LED grow light technology produces high photosynthetically active radiation values with superior light utilization and beam uniformity.
The new fixture retails for $1299 (though it’s on sale for $1199 through November 3 at IllumitexDirect.com).
