US (IA): Delate interview offers updates on organic production research

The Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture has published an interview with Kathleen Delate, who coordinates the Iowa State University Organic Agriculture program and leads the Long-Term Agroecological Research experiments.

In the interview, Delate discusses organic systems research trials that show organic grain crop yields can be competitive with conventional yields, talks about how organic practices can improve soil and water quality, and describes how organic systems respond to drought and climate pressure.
