Netherlands: Around the world on a few hectares at Bejo open days

From Tuesday, 22 September to Saturday, 26 September, you can travel around the world on a few hectares. During its annual Open Days, Bejo welcomes international growers who come to see vegetable crops and varieties grown all over the world on the demonstration fields.

Bejo’s demonstration fields will present both existing and new varieties. In the product tent Bejo will also be introducing its innovative concepts. This year these will again include the Coolwrap, the cabbage concept on sale in the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, which is now spreading to other countries. In the mechanisation exhibition, more new companies will be demonstrating their innovative machines. Visitors can tour the seed technology laboratory and the seed cleaning and processing halls where the seeds undergo quality control and are processed and packed. The research centre will also be giving presentations about its work during the Open Days.

On Thursday, 24 September Bejo is organising a symposium: Taste, Health & Innovation 2015 – Brassica Symposium. The symposium consists of two forums featuring interesting subjects aimed at the product and the market. Contact your Bejo representative if you would like to take part.

The Open Days are being held from Tuesday, 22 September to Saturday, 26 September, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Saturday until 4.00 p.m.) at Trambaan 2 in Warmenhuizen, the Netherlands.
