RAM introduces new processor cards

The new RAM processor card provides the operator an integrated webserver in the climate computer system. Thereby an external PC with installed RAM Software to operate the climate computer is not necessary any more. The webserver is optimised for operation by mobile devices and touch panel. Configuration work like checking the compatibility with virus scanners, firewalls or other PC programs is also not necessary any more. Only an html5 compatible browser is needed to operate the webserver. Of course the webserver can also be operated by using a PC.

By using the integrated Ethernet switch (TCP/IP protocol) on the processor card it is possible to integrate the different climate computer stations in an existing network, so that no separate network for the communication between the different climate computers has to be built up. By using optical fibre, distances of up to 15km (~9 miles) between the different climate computer stations can be reached. The connection of the different climate computer stations can also be realised by using wireless LAN, so that different parts of a production site which are divided by e.g. a road or railway can communicate without using any cables. An existing TCI bus connection, by which the communication of the different climate computers had been realised earlier, can still be used as an emergency network. If a network breakdown of the TCP/IP connection is recognised, the communication falls back to the TCI network within 90 seconds.

The climate computers can be operated by browsing the integrated webserver by mobile devices, PC (both provide world wide access) or a touch panel (local). The operator is able to check and operate the climate computers by using any mobile device - in the greenhouse or word wide. A menu based operation allows to operate the climate computer in an intuitive way.

Also user accounts with different authority levels can be created, to provide selective operation posibilities to different persons. Messured values, setpoints or other data which are availible in the climate computer software can be saved and shown as graphics. Up to 8 values can be shown in one graphic. The data storage can be set to 2, 12 or 120 minutes intervall. By using additionally implemented websites the most important values (e.g. weather station or climate data of single compartments) can be called quickly.

Of course also other values and/or settings can be visualised on an additional website. It is also possible to visualise technical equipment and to display data of the manufacturer and of the RAM control software.

RAM also provides the App CCWebControl for connecting the mobile device with the climate computer the first time automatically. By using the App, installation and configuration work is not necessary any more for using mobile devices. The App CCWebControl is available for Android and Apple iOS. The user interface can also be called by using the App.

The operator can also adjust the App and insert more webpages by bookmarking.
This new complete system provides producers an easy to use, inexpensive and high quality solution to operate the climate computer worldwide.
