New water restrictions, with the most recent and perhaps severe in California, continue to have devastating effects on large and small-scale growers alike, making water savings and boosting plant efficiency essential. EcosPure’s GrowSmart Oasis™ material absorbs key nutrients that promote healthy plant growth. It holds up to ten times its weight in water and slowly releases water and nutrients into the root zone (shown left) as the plant grows. You can line a gardening pot or even entire acres with it. Once the material is compacted beneath the soil and roots, the GrowSmart Oasis™ fabric, which is lined with a special coating that acts as a magnet, absorbs Ammonia (99.9%), Nitrate (96%), Phosphorous (60%) and Potassium (40%), keeping them near the roots to promote not just faster growth, but 15% taller with 20% more branches and leaves! When the roots come into direct contact with the GrowSmart material, a channel is created that allows for continuous nourishment. As nutrients exit the material and enter the roots, new water and nutrients are absorbed into the liner, keeping the plant’s life source rich and abundant.
