New PTO driven Bio Hopper XL for Bakker Seed Productions

Bakker Seed Productions is the first to work with the PTO driven version of Weterings Bio Hopper XL.

Bakker is specialized in the production of hybrid tomato-, cucumber- and pepperseeds which are grown in compartments of ca. 3000 m2. The crop rotation takes place various times a year and is done by hand up till now.

The Bio Hopper turns out to be a huge timesaver making the crop rotation a piece of cake. All the heavy work of removing plants and substrates is now done by the Bio Hopper. Even though Bakker has a relatively light tractor with little hydraulic capacity, it has enough power on the PTO to run the Bio Hopper at full speed.

This is however not necessary, due to the small areas that need to be cleaned out, thus Bakker prefers to work at an easier pace. The PTO unit is also available as an attachment for existing machines.
