The ShortCourse is fast approaching, but it is not too late to register. Reduced coursefees and room rates at the Westward Look Resort have been extended anothertwo weeks to March 6th. This should allow for all attendees tosave a little money and still enjoy all of the amenities of the resort whilebeing on-site for Short Course activities.
Lecturesgiven during the Short Course will also be broadcast over the internet and canbe viewed with the Webcast attendance option. The Webcast option allowsattendees to watch the lectures both live and later at their convenience.
The ShortCourse is not just a classroom setting of presentations, but interactions andnetworking with industry exhibitors, faculty experts, and real growers. Thereis a full day of Workshops at the CEAC teaching and research facilities on the University of Arizona campus, where more than 8 work stations will advise youon topics ranging from ‘how to grow tomatoes and lettuce’, plus Fertigation,vegetable grafting demonstration, LED lighting of grafted vegetabletransplants, and ‘Basics of sensors for environmental control’.
The full-day Workshop complements the Educator bydemonstrating that knowledge can and is put into action. Each course attendeewalks away with an empowering experience. Knowledge, resources and choices area mighty trio.
