UK: Top iris grower Claire Austin to return to the Chelsea Flower Show

One of the top iris growers in Wales and the UK has succumbed to the lure of the Chelsea Flower Show after a four-year break, to show how the elegant flower can fit into any modern garden.

Claire Austin, of Hardy Plants, in Newtown, Mid Wales, who won a Gold in 2010,will be back exhibiting in the Best of British section of Chelsea’s Great Pavilion in London this May.

She holds the National Plant Collection for Bearded Irises which is what she will be exhibiting at Chelsea and the National Collection of Herbaceous Peonies.
