Former PlantLab CEO starts new CEA enterprise

Just one month after his unexpected departure from the company in Den Bosch, Gertjan Meeuws, the former CEO and founder of PlantLab, has found a new company: Plenty50. With this new company he wants to build centers for controlled environment agriculture around the globe. The entrepreneur is looking for the initiative partners anywhere in the world, and wants to open the first CEA center for the cultivation of vegetables and herbs this year.

The remaining three founders of PlantLab have no trouble with the initiative of Meeuws. About the reason for his departure and the resignation of 2 directors at PlantLab neither party will make further announcements.
