IPM Essen: Speeddating at the Floradania booth
The 6 new varieties of Roses Forever were presented; a new line of mini roses, The Moscow line, Carloton Roses Forever, Love me stem roses, ”Sweet day” and “Sweet family” from the Sweet home line, and a new climbing rose.
The new spring/summer collection of 2015 from Offer Madsen was showed . Long lasting green plants are styled according to trends and season. This season, the spring/summer collection consists of new ceramic flower pots with and without magnets.
The sunlight orchid (Promenaea) from Sogo was presented. This new variety won the IPM Novelties (IPM Neuheiten) in the category “Flowering indoor plants”. This new variety is 6 cm and has now more flowers.
Rosa Danica presented their collection of roses and in particular their scenting RosAroma®, which is developed together with W. Kordes Scöhne. Also their role in the Pink Ribbon campaign was highlighted.
The shop-ready concept from Pedersen was showed. This concept consist of a CC-container with: one layer of finished plant arrangements and four layers, each with a 10 cm seasonal plants, matching in colour and texture.
The new 18-23 cm indoor clematis from Poulsen Roser was presented. After using the clematis indoors, it can be placed in the garden, outside.
Graff Kristensen showed the new Q-ismas star Crunch. This poinsettia has a long shelve life and Poinsettia Awards 2014-2015.
More information about the three new varieties of ethylene resistant cut flowers from Knud Jespen was given. The colours of these new varieties are yellow, white and rose.
Mystery Lady presented three new varieties; Leonore, Dark Debby and the latest variety in the Mystery Lady series: ‘Nicole’. ‘Nicole’ has a strong plant, lot of buds/flowers and a dark bright blue colour.
