Raising structure from 4m to 5.60m
"Raised greenhouse meets today's requirements"
It’s a busy day at Nursery Panda from Honselersdijk, owned by Aad and Paul van der Knaap. The company cultivates 5.5 ha of eggplants and 3 ha of Strelitzia’s, a genus of perennial plants, native to South Africa. T.C. van den Dool will now raise 4 ha for eggplant cultivation, spread over two greenhouses. The greenhouses were 4 meters high, and the eggplants almost literally went through the roof. The structures will be raised by 1.60 m.
T.C. van den Dool is expected to do the job within five weeks. Around 10 December, work will be completed. Hennie Pellikaan is the executor for the job. Ad Kokshoorn of T.C. van den Dool: "The greenhouses are about 16 years old, and after the adjustments they’ll again meet today's requirements."
