Horiver now in a third size on the market

At the request of clients, Koppert has developed a third size in the yellow sticky traps. This is now on the market. It measures 25 x 20 cm and joins the other two sizes of 25 x 10 and 25 x 40 cm. The new sticky trap is naturally of the same impeccable quality that Koppert always delivers.

Sticky traps are essential in the detection and partial elimination of many species of flying pests in greenhouses. Sticky traps make it possible to detect pests at an early stage and to then take biological measures to combat them. This avoids any unnecessary spray applications of chemicals.

Moreover, by regularly counting the captured insects on the sticky traps, it will become clear when the pests are present in the greenhouse, how quickly their population is developing, and when the population is likely to reach its peak. The grower is thus better prepared for potential threats.

Horiver offers top quality

Horiver sticky traps are well-known for their excellent quality. The sticky-trap sheets retain their adhesive power under all conditions and the adhesive does not drip, even at very high temperatures. It is not surprising that Horiver leaves other products in its wake in comparative studies.

The Koppert sticky traps

The complete range of Koppert sticky traps is set out below.
1. Yellow sticky traps (brand name: Horiver): these are used to detect aphids, whitefly, leaf miners, sciarid flies, and thrips.
2. Blue sticky traps (brand name: Horiver-TR.): blue sticky traps are used to detect thrips and sciarid flies.
3. Black sticky traps (brand name: Horiver Tuta): growers can use these sticky traps to detect and eliminate the leaf mining moth.

Hanging system

The Horiver sticky traps can be hung up using a magnetic holder. In tall crops, position the holder just above the top of the plants. Reposition the sticky traps - moving them higher - as the crop grows. In low-growing crops, hang up the sticky traps a maximum of 30 cm above the crop. Position the large sticky traps in the spots with the greatest risk of pests.
