Frigid overnight temperatures across East Tennessee left many with frost on their cars Sunday morning and, for farmers, that meant frost covering their fields earlier than normal.
Holding his breath, as he walks up to check on his tomato plants after the first frost of the season, Jordan Combs breathes a sign of relief.
"Of course I just had my fingers crossed. It does look like we had a little bit of damage, but it's nothing too extensive and hopefully it won't affect our yields that much," Combs said.
