Planning is well advanced for the forthcoming Brassica and Leafy Salad Conference to be held on Wednesday 28th January 2015 at the KingsGate Conference Centre, Peterborough.
As both Associations are hosting this event we expect a large number of delegates to attend, from all sectors of the industry, including growers, packers, agronomists, allied industry representatives and customers from the retail, wholesale and food service sectors. A trade exhibition will take place alongside the conference.
There will be a gala dinner held after the event at the Holiday Inn, Peterborough. This will be dedicated to the late David Piccaver who sadly passed away in December and who is greatly missed by the industry.
We are pleased to announce that the opening address will be given by the NFU President, Meurig Raymond, followed by technical presentations for each crop group. There will be joint marketing presentations in the afternoon, starting with Ed Garner of Kantar World Panel.
It promises to be an informative day with time to visit an extensive trade show and is a must for all involved in these two fresh produce sectors.
The event is being kindly sponsored by Syngenta.
