June 17th & 18th Plant Products in Leamington showcased the best and newest variety lineup from the Syngenta Active Greenhouse Vegetable Portfolio to produce marketers and consultants from across the U.S. and Canada. The goal was to “Taste and See” the most promising new products as well as the current commercial selection of varieties available in all segments of greenhouse tomato, pepper and cucumber categories.
Produce salespeople had the opportunity to identify trends in the market and lead the development of new cultivars in the direction that will meet the demands of the market now and in the future. The overwhelming message was to focus on taste in addition to high production potential.
