Netherlands: Looije Tomaten opens doors to ActivAir

Looije Tomaten, the company behind Honey Tomatoes, in its new office in Burgerveen, has made great strides to achieve the objectives of The New Cultivation. A solution was found for the condensation caused by outside and greenhouse air. The innovative arrangement of airflows also catches the eye. Intensive cooperation between VB Group, Havecon, Metazet / Formflex and Priva has led to an innovative and technologically advanced system, ActivAir. In two open days, intended for national and international guests, Jos Looije allows a peek into ActivAir's kitchen.



Nomination GreenTech Innovation Award
ActivAir system is one of the twelve nominees for the first ever GreenTech Innovation Award. This will be presented during GreenTech, the international trade fair on the agricultural chain with a focus on production technology for food crop and ornamental plants. An international jury has selected 12 nominees from 53 entries. On June 10, during the opening exhibition, the winners will be announced.
