Ease greenhouse plants into garden
A.: You need to treat those plants as you would if you had started seedlings under grow lights in your home. They need what is known as a hardening off time. This is where you take them outside for a few hours each day for about a week to 10 days. The light outside is much stronger than indoors no matter where they are grown, plus the temperatures, wind, rain and all those variables can shock and stunt the growth of young plants that have been grown indoors. Do this and your plants will reward you by taking to their new homes with enthusiasm. (Don't forget to make and use the compost tea.)
