EU-Kenya Trade and Investment Forum

The EU-Kenya Trade and Investment Forum will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre. The one-day event is one among a series of activities to be held during 2014 EU Week that will be marked between 5th and 10th, May. The Forum will bring together 60 companies based in Kenya that have their roots in the EU as well as Kenyan companies that do business with the EU. The Chief Guest will be the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development, Adan Mohammed. The Kenya Flower Council will mount a stand during the event.

The event will offer to the Kenyan Businesses, Business Management Organizations and various government bodies a unique opportunity to increase their visibility and to demonstrate how the long standing EU – Kenya partnership has translated into foreign direct investment, employment, increased market access, skills development, and technology.

A thematic round table discussion will be held soon after the official opening of the Forum to discuss issues of interest to exporters and potential investors. Senior officials of EU Member States and Kenyan government will attend the meeting.

The cost for booking an exhibition stand is Kshs 50,000 exclusive of VAT. The theme of the EU-Kenya Trade and Investment Forum is “EU-Kenya Partnership: Championing Growth for Prosperity through Private Sector Development”.
