Netherlands: Kubo and VGT celebrate opening of 15.3 hectare greenhouse project

Last Tuesday was the official opening of our project VGT. This Belgium company, located in Rijkevorsel is now building a project in Terneuzen, Holland. The project will be 15.3 hectare traditional KUBO greenhouse for growing peppers.


Eef ter Laak and Ron Threels from KUBO, Jan Vellekoop from PDI, Jos Wuyts and Staf Verlinden from VGT Zeeuws Vlaanderen celebrated this moment with a glass of champagne.

This company, VGT is located in Rijkevorsel, has already 15 hectare of greenhouses for the cultivation of yellow and red peppers. The VGT wants sustainable, socially and responsible cultivation and an eye on the future. This traditional greenhouse will be provided with waste heat and CO₂ from the adjacent factory YARA through WarmCO₂.
