Fruit Logistica 2014, Hall 4.2 - Stand C-09

Italy: A new frontier for plastic films for small polytunnels from LIRSA

Small polytunnels have always been used for protected horticulture, just like plastic films, to improve the production of early varieties and to protect plants from the weather. Nowadays, their use is practically compulsory for sunlight and machinable purposes. This is why many plastic film producing companies have focused their research on producing films to create the perfect light/temperature conditions and that could be employed easily.

Laying of TRATEC films.

In particular, LIRSA was able to satisfy all these requests thanks to TRATEC, a new film which combines all the characteristics needed by the market, i.e. RESISTANCE, CAPABILITY TO HOLD WARMTH AND EXCELLENT QUALITY OF LIGHT.
In addition, TRATEC is made of a selection of polyolefine polimers, meaning it can be recycled. It also weighs 30% less than PVS but guarantees a better performance in m2 x kg.

Shortly, TRATEC will also be available in the diffused light version, thanks to special additives.

After experimenting for quite some time, LIRSA and its technical staff are pleased to finally announce a "simple" solution, and they informed us that all operators are welcome to visit their stand C-09 in Hall 4.2 during the next edition of Fruit Logistica (Berlin, 5th-7th February 2014).
