Over 100 different varieties planted at Nunhems demo greenhouse

Last Monday January 6th, new crops were planted at the tomato demo greenhouse of Nunhems in ‘s-Gravenzande, The Netherlands. The Nunhems location in ’s-Gravenzande (Westland) a compartment is equipped specifically for the cultivation of tomatoes. Over a hundred different varieties will be grown and showcased. At the beginning of May the demo will be open for our customers from all over the world. A broad scale of segments can be showed, from small 3 grams berry tomatoes to beefsteak tomatoes over 200 grams and in all thinkable shapes.



The tomato plants were delivered Monday morning by young plant propagator WPK, who has sown, grafted and grown them to 60 cm plants. The plants were grown at WPK in a separate compartment where it was possible to deliver Pepino virus free plants. And an additional benefit is that the plantraisers’ location at the other side of the road.
