Sturgeon to be farmed in greenhouses in Kazakhstan

According to the press service of Stepnogorsk district, the LLP "Greenhouse technologies in Kazakhstan" will start farming sturgeon. This appeared to be possible due to the start of the project to expand the greenhouse complex. The program "Business Road Map-2020" helped to increase production capacity through reconstruction of transformer substations.

It is known that the company specializes in growing plants using low-volume technology, drip irrigation and an automated monitoring system to control and monitor the greenhouse climate and plant nutrition. Last year almost a thousand tonnes of vegetables were produced and this year more than 1200 tonnes have been produced just for the first 9 months of 2013.

According to the results of the regional exhibition-contest "Best Product of Kazakhstan", the company became the winner in "The best food products" category.
